A Brief Biography:
I have been a professional artist since 2003 but have been involved in art for most of my life. I was born in Maine in 1979 and, following the examples of my father and grandfather, my early artworks were representational, landscape paintings. In 1998, I was introduced to the idea and possibilities of collage through a professional artist who became my artistic mentor. I received formal training in Philosophy and Literature at St. Johns College, Annapolis, MD, and in visual art at the Art Students League of New York.
My works have won many juried competitions over the past several years and may be seen in galleries in New York, Illinois, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida, and are included in numerous private collections in the United States and abroad.
